More about this class

Southern Italy is one of the oldest, most historically significant winemaking regions in the world but it lacks status and it can be confusing to figure out. The truth is, nothing goes better with Italian American food than southern Italian wine, from which most of the influence on Italian American cuisine hails.

In this class we’ll explore some hidden gems of southern Italy:

  • Fiano di Avellino from Campania
  • Nero d’Avola or Nerello Mascalese from Sicily
  • Ciró from Calabria
  • Aglianico from Basilicata
  • Negroamaro or Primitivo from Puglia

All are underpriced and right under your nose, if you know where to look…and after this class, believe me — you’ll seek these out all the time!

*Once you register you will receive an email with payment confirmation and a link to class information that is very important (it includes the wines to get!). PLEASE check your Spam/Junk box if you do not see it. If you still can’t find it, please Contact Us.
